Fixed.
Yeah, I've seen it but it's still not clear enough to draw an accurate picture of it.

the enlisted rank insignia in ENT is loosely based on that of the USAF, it uses something similar to the starfleet arrowhead/delta (the enterprise badge if you will) in the centre and has either 1, 2 or 3 diagonally angled bars on the left (as you look at the screen) side of the arrowhead.
kinda like this: /

as i said, it's similar to the USAF's enlisted personnel rank insignia, which has a star in the centre and bars on the sides to denote 1st, 2nd and 3rd class. |

Because in my opinion, the events in FC and the whole Temporal War created an alternate timeline.

Say have you removed the link to the revised Kirk chronology? I can't find it anymore and the forum announcement seems to be gone as well.

Not to mention that the events of Enterprise to shape the events of the current Star Trek Universe to come? |

The ENT Starfleet uniforms are IMO influenced by the FC uniforms. Same division colours, pips, jumpsuits with an undershirt, similar shoulder parts...

That and the existence of 'Starfleet'. Cochrane knew Starfleet happened after he flew the Phoenix. I think if FC had not of happened, Starfleet wouldn't exist until the Federation came to be. |

Thank you for the link, think I haven't searched hard enough
As to the different timeline, I presume the split could have happened even earlier: When Sisko and Co travelled to the 2020s to take part in the Bell Riots. Unfortunately that would also put the rest of DS9 into an alternative timeline, but it would explain why even the development of the Phoenix is so unbelieveable.

I'm afraid "In a Mirror, Darkly" will punch some big holes in my theory.
